Nutrition Counseling

East Valley patients who are at high-risk for nutrition-related diseases receive outpatient nutrition counseling. Additionally, special dietary needs such as prenatal and HIV nutrition is addressed to promote better outcomes to populations at risk of nutrition related problems.

Weight Management Program


This four-session series includes education about preventing disease by managing weight, nutrition, the importance of exercise, and stress management.

Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP)

CPSP delivers a wide range of health related services to pregnant and postpartum women. Patients receive obstetric care services; nutrition, health education, psychosocial case management services; and financial entitlement assistance to address their full spectrum of needs. Additionally, classes such as maintaining a healthy pregnancy, infant care, and childbirth preparation are provided to clients. A Child Development Facilitator visits newly delivered baby and mother in the hospital, and brings infant development toys and resources to help parents optimize their infants’ development from the very beginning.

Enrollment Assistance

This program is designed to increase the enrollment of children and qualifying adults into the above coverage programs. Our Certified Application Assistors (CAA) provide information and help with enrollment applications.
