Teen C.I.T.Y., a pregnancy prevention and STI education program serving young people offers:

Pregnancy testing
Birth control
STI testing and treatment
Reproductive health education
Pap smears
Male exams

In order to reduce the incidence of sexually transmitted infections and teenage pregnancy, Teen C.I.T.Y. offers prevention education to young people aged 12 to 22. We have peer counselors, male and female, to educate teens on reproductive health issues and services in a teen friendly environment. These services are free of charge and confidential.

Health Education

Health education is a vital component to preventing teen pregnancy. Therefore EV conducts presentations at high schools and in community settings. Presentations are free and available throughout the year.

HIV/STI Awareness

Comprehensive information about HIV and common sexually transmitted diseases (STD) that affect young people is provided. Studies show that only half of young people who are sexually active use condoms to protect themselves against disease. A major reason is embarrassment and lack of knowledge. Accordingly, we provide detailed information about protection and answer questions about their use. While we are sensitive not to use offensive language or otherwise loose the focus of our discussion, we are direct.

Reproduction and Contraceptive Methods

Information on the reproductive system and contraception options are presented.
